Hello, Goodbye: 75 Rituals for Times of Loss, Celebration and Change

Simon Element / Simon & Schuster

Hello. I’m Day.

Many of us don’t do change well. We fight it, power-through it, ignore it, fear it, dissociate from it. We haven’t been given the skills to make it meaningful — to make it matter.

My purpose is to empower individuals, communities and companies to learn the power and potential of ritual to mark moments of endings and beginnings. This leads to resilience.

As we continue to go through massive cultural and global transitions, we need a pathfinder through all the change. I believe ritual is our essential tool.
